AdvertisementLindsay Lohan left rehab last week and spent the weekend clubbing in Hollywood.

The Mean Girls star - who checked herself into Los Angeles' Wonderland Center on January 17 to be treated for alcoholism - left the clinic last week and hit the town straight away. On Friday night Lindsay was seen laughing and joking with hotel heiress Paris Hilton as they left the Les Deux nightclub.

The Just My Luck star then spent Saturday night partying with friends at trendy nightspot Teddy's, before heading to Area nightclub.

Lindsay - who admitted herself to rehab following an all-night drinking binge at the Golden Globes - was not seen drinking over the weekend.

The 20-year-old actress - who was allowed out on day release during her rehabilitation programme to film her latest movie I Know Who Killed Me and go shopping - allegedly sent text messages to friends saying she was craving sex and burgers during her time in Wonderland.

Jeremy Showed Privates to Hilton and Phillips
Porn legend Ron Jeremy has confirmed speculation he once shared an intimate moment with Paris Hilton and Bijou Phillips in a bathroom.

The Hollywood socialites cheekily asked Jeremy if they could see his well-endowed penis during a party at the Chateau Marmont Hotel -- and he suggested a game of "I'll show you mine, and you show me yours."

He tells Page Six, "I agreed only on the condition that they flash their tops. They both said yes and took me to the nearest women's bathroom.

"We squeezed into an empty stall, they pulled up their shirts, I unbuckled my pants, and after seeing mine, Bijou turned to Paris and wondered aloud, 'Could this be considered cheating?'

"Being a true gentleman, I never confirmed or denied the story. Later, at a party in Las Vegas, I overheard Paris loudly exclaiming to Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst that she had seen my penis. So now I feel comfortable telling the story."

Not Paris, but Perez, Hilton
Catty gossip blogger keeps an eye on the celebrity scene
Mcclatchy-tribune
Originally published February 4, 2007
MIAMI // You're at the Catalina Hotel on Collins Avenue, hanging with Perez Hilton and waiting for him to say something vile. He's the catty Cubanito from Miami who is making a splash with his celebrity gossip Web site, PerezHilton.com.
Perez - real name Mario Lavandeira - grew up in Westchester, Fla., is a Belen Jesuit Prep School grad, studied acting at New York University and likes to call himself "Queen of Mean." But today he's being sort of, well, sweet.

He's telling you about his mom (his dad, who had a wallpapering business, died of an aneurism when Perez was 14) and how he just bought her a Toyota Prius and health insurance and how he wants to buy her a condo when he really makes it.

"She probably wouldn't even like a condo on the Beach," Perez - PerEZ - says. 'As for the health insurance, I couldn't believe she didn't have any. I was like, 'Girl, you need to start taking care of yourself.'"

For all the celebrity slammin' that Perez, 28, does on his site (Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie can't miss one meal without Perez going off on their questionable relationships with food), he can also be quite star-struck, a fame basher obviously obsessed with fame.

Here's a giddy post on his site about getting to breathe the same air as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globes:

"Angelina is even more stunning in person. And Brad was so touching, guiding his babymomma along the way. One day. We will exchange words. But this was good enough for now!"

At the same time, he's happy to put out there that he's a poisonous little man with no qualms about cutting celebs to the quick. Except for Paris and Nicky Hilton. Everybody knows he has mad love for them.

It's all so junior high.

And yet the advertisement-driven Web site is hugely successful - Perez claims more than 3 million hits a day - and it has made him something of a pseudo celebrity. He's been featured on 20/20 and Good Morning America, appeared on MTV's New Year's Eve special and scored a small role as himself in an upcoming episode of Dirt, the new F/X series starring Courteney Cox as a tabloid editor.

Perez came up with his name after a night of clubbing on South Beach.

'We went to three or four places, and every time we tried to leave, somebody told us, 'Wait, don't leave yet. Paris Hilton is coming.' They just wanted people to spend more money on drinks. I wanted to meet her. But after a whole night of this, I said, 'Please. Paris Hilton is not showing up. Maybe Perez Hilton will.' And I instantly loved the name. It's what I'm about, satirizing yet celebrating."

Perez is also getting ink these days over being sued for copyright infringement by X17, a Hollywood-celebrity photo agency claiming he posts its images without permission. X17 is seeking $7.5 million.

"I believe at the core of my being that I'm not doing anything illegal or unethical. They have their points, and I have my points, so I guess the only way to decide this is through the legal system," Perez says as he downs his second Monster energy drink.

"I've been sued before. I used to call my site PageSixSixSix and the New York Post sued. ... It was the best thing that happened to me because it forced me to become my own brand."

Perez may come off as someone who spews cut-downs about the cool kids he'd like to befriend, but he's also pretty clear about the celebrity game's being a game.

He calls Paris, who is on his speed dial, a mentor. "She gets it. She'd rather be talked about than not talked about. I mean, she created this successful brand for herself, and there's a bunch of models and whatever trying to be like her, but they can't. ... I look at her as an inspiration."

There are celebrities he doesn't exactly idolize. Like Britney Spears.

"Britney confuses. I loved the old Britney. But I don't think that's the real Britney," Perez says. "I think what we're seeing now is the real Britney." And there are times Perez gets it right. He takes credit for prodding Lance Bass of 'N Sync, Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser, M.D.) and T.R. Knight (Grey's Anatomy) out of the closet.

"I don't think there's anything different in me talking about Lance Bass' secret relationship with some guy or Us Weekly talking about Jessica Simpson's secret relationship with John Mayer."

So does Perez have any secret relationships?

"No dating life. That's why I'm trying to eat healthy and get in shape. The boys are harsh. I'm one of them. I wouldn't want to date a fat person. I wouldn't date me. I guess I'm self-hating," he says, laughing.

He lives in West Hollywood and does most of his blogging from a corner table at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Sunset and Fairfax. He says Nicole Richie went there to confront him once.

"She was like, 'Call me anorexic to my face.' And I was like, 'Girl, Perez is just a character. Let's hug it out.' And we did. I was worried for a second, because she had her posse of gays with her."

Judge Bars Release of Paris Hilton Items

Posted: 13 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES — A federal judge has issued a temporary injunction against a Web site peddling personal pictures, videos, diaries, and other items that heiress Paris Hilton once kept at a storage facility.

Hilton sued the Web site ParisExposed.com last month, accusing it of exploiting her private personal belongings for commercial gain. The injunction issued Friday temporarily bars the Web site from releasing Hilton's Social Security number, health data and other personal information.

Hilton's spokesman, Elliott Mintz, said Saturday he was pleased by the move.

"I know what this has done personally and emotionally to Paris," Mintz said. "As far as I'm concerned, this is the most disturbing intrusion upon the privacy of a public figure that I've ever witnessed. "

The subscription-based Web site was launched last month and claims to have footage of Hilton in a "sexy bubble bath" video and various shots of the 25-year-old socialite in "racy situations."

Hilton previously said she put her possessions in storage two years ago when she and her sister, Nicky, moved out of a house that had been burglarized.

The lawsuit alleges two defendants paid $2,775 for the contents of the storage unit and later sold the items for $10 million to entrepreneur Bardia Persa, who created the Web site.

A message sent to an e-mail address for Persa on Saturday afternoon was not immediately returned. Persa is due in court on February 16 to address the injunction.

Look out, Meryl Streep. Paris Hilton is going to start taking this acting thing very seriously.

The “House of Wax” star has landed a new role in a film called “The Hottie and the Nottie” and says she’s been working hard to prepare for the role of a hot girl who refuses to get married until her not-hot friend finds a sweetie.

“I’m serious about acting and I have a bunch of movies lined up,” the partying Heiress told Hello! magazine. She has even been reading the thespian book: ”The Power of the Actor.”

“I think I can become a good actress,” Hilton explained. “It’s something I want to prove to myself and to other people. I feel I’m getting better and feeling more confident about what I can do as an actress.”

Snapping back into shape
Britney Spears is determined to get rid of more than her estranged husband.

On her way to the night club Hyde recently, The “Oops, I Did It Again” stopped by Petit Tresor and spent more than $400 on Mustela creams, which are used to fade post-natal stretch marks, according to a source.

“I guess it will be part of her new look,” says the insider, “and I say, ‘Good for her.’”

Notes from all over
Renée Zellweger says she doesn’t want to own a gun but has considered getting one. “I did buy a house. I have places to live, but I don’t live there because I don’t have time to get there and because I’ve had people show up at these houses, so it’s not a friendly place for a girl who is single without a dog to live,” the “Bridget Jones” star told the Belfast Telegraph. “People usually mean no harm, but it’s scary if there is a car idling outside your house in the middle of the woods at four in the morning. You realize you can’t live there any more. It’s sad, but that’s how it works. It’s no big deal. It’s just a job hazard. I don’t want to own a gun, but sometimes at four in the morning when there is a car outside, you do think about it.” . . . LaToya Jackson says she helped deliver a child and that it’s changed her life. . . .Matthew Fox says his penchant for skinny-dipping is no big deal. “When I was a kid there wasn’t a huge delineation in our family between having clothes on or not having clothes on. And the reason I have so much fun doing it now is people are so shocked by it, and, like, ‘Oh, my God, Fox just took his clothes off!’” the “Lost” star tells Men’s Journal. “But, I mean, just how long ago was it that we were all wandering around in loincloths? I don’t know, dude, but I grew up, all the way until I was 22 years old ... in locker rooms showering with [bleeping] 40 other dudes and you’re not checking each other’s [bleep] sizes out, you’re just walking around like it’s no big deal. And no, I don’t take my clothes off all the time because I think I have a huge unit and want to show it off. I do it because it’s frickin’ funny!”

Video Of Paris Hilton Using Racial, Homophobic Slurs Hits Web
LOS ANGELES (February 1, 2007) -- It looks like Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to find herself at the center of a racial controversy.

A video clip that was posted online this week shows the socialite and her sister, Nicky, at a party making homophobic and racist remarks.

In the video clip, which appears to be several years old, Paris repeatedly calls one person a "f*****t" as she is dancing with her sister.

At one point in the clip, Paris pauses dancing to Notorious BIG's "Hypnotize," walks up to the camera and says she and her sister "are like two n******."

The video clip is marked ParisExposed.com, the Web site which was selling many of Paris' personal items, including photographs, home videos, diaries, love letters, recorded phone conversations and phone numbers of friends and celebrities.

All this stuff had been left behind at a Los-Angeles based storage facility.

Hilton's spokesman says someone who was supposed to have kept up payments for the storage, didn't, so all that stuff was sold by a broker.

Paris has filed a federal lawsuit seeking money damages and an injunction to shut down the site.

Superbowl XLI: The game
By: Doug Bonham | Sports Copy Editor
Issue date: 2/2/07 Section: News

Though Super Bowl XLI is chock-full of interesting subplots, lost among them all is that Sunday's game has the potential to be an absolute classic.

Even for nonfans, the many parallel storylines hovering around the game add spice to an intriguing matchup featuring many star players.

The player with the biggest stake in this Super Bowl is clearly Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. After gaining a reputation for crumbling under pressure, Manning has led the Colts past his nemesis, Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game Jan. 21. As the top-rated quarterback in the NFL, Manning and the Colts passing game will be at the center of their top-rated offense on Sunday.

Manning's counterpart, Bears' quarterback Rex Grossman, is a giant question mark because of inconsistency issues. At some points this season, Grossman played brilliantly, at others he has struggled so much that the media have called for his replacement. Some in the sports media still debate whether he may be the worst starting quarterback in Super Bowl history.

On the defensive side, both teams have hard-hitting, lightning-quick leaders. The Bears' Pro Bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher is the latest in a history of great Chicago Bears linebackers including Hall of Famers Dick Butkus and Mike Singletary. Safety Bob Sanders of the Colts is a playmaker and leader on defense. After being injured most of the season, his presence in the playoffs means they are, on average, giving up a touchdown less to their opponents than they did in the regular season. Both Urlacher and Sanders are fast, make bone-crunching tackles, and influence those they play with. Though the Bears were strong on defense all season, the Colts, led by Dwight Freeney, have played well and have surprised many in the playoffs.

One subplot to this Super Bowl is that both the Colts' Tony Dungy and the Bears' Lovie Smith are the first two black head coaches to appear in a championship. Smith was an assistant coach under Dungy when Dungy coached the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the two coaches still use the same defensive scheme they created together in Tampa, Fla.

Super Bowl XLI will be contested by two proud franchises. The Bears have been around since1920, and famously won their only other Super Bowl appearance in 1985 with Jim McMahon under center and Walter Payton in the backfield. The Colts, formed in 1953 in Baltimore, won their only Super Bowl in 1971 with the leadership of Hall of Fame quarterback Johnny Unitas.

After all is said and done and Dolphin Stadium's lights have been extinguished until September, one thing is for certain: Every fan in attendance will have witnessed a game for the ages.

CNN Gets Paris Exposed.Com: Anderson Cooper Equals Paris Hilton?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By Josh Hart
Feb 1, 2007

While Paris Hilton is seething about a website dubbed Paris Exposed.Com showing all sorts of naughty Paris and friends moments, CNN is getting a dose of 'Paris Exposed' as well. The network is reportedly very angry that a Fox News Channel ad compares the cable network's dapper newsman Anderson Cooper to Paris Hilton.

Anderson Cooper Gets a Dose of Paris Exposed From Fox

According to a report from the New York Post Fox News Channel uses an ad spread in Television Week magazine to lampoon Cooper. The ad features a shot of Cooper from behind posing for a team of paparazzi who are frantically snapping his picture. "Meet the Paris Hilton of Television News," the ad crows. It then accuses the silver-maned talking head of being a "media darling" who's the product of "endless hype," but is really all "style over substance."

***

Page Six reports that the ad also claims CNN has shelled out "tens of millions of dollars in advertising" to put Cooper on the map, "and he still gets beaten every night by 'On the Record With Greta Van Susteren' - the No. 1 show at 10 p.m."

Cue the rep™: According to the Post, A CNN flack called Fox's ad an "act of desperation because Greta's audience has been eroding and 'Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees' is getting closer. This is a sign they are starting to panic." The rep also denied CNN had spent tens of millions to hype Cooper, but wouldn't say what it has doled out.

Web portal Lycos has reported that US celebrity reality TV shows, including I Love New York, Hogan Knows Best, and Shooting Sizemore have caused a huge spike in search activity for VH1.com for the week ending 27 January.

But it was 'MySpace' that maintained its crown for another week as the most searched for term on Lycos.

'Pamela Anderson', 'Paris Hilton' and 'poker' trailed behind 'MySpace' as the top search terms.

'Disney', 'Britney Spears', 'RuneScape', 'WWE' and 'Naruto' brought up the rear, although terms such as 'Academy Awards' and 'adware' saw a huge increase in traffic.

Search interest in the Oscars jumped 440 per cent, particularly for 'Will Smith', 'Leonardo DiCaprio', 'Penelope Cruz' and 'Kate Winslet'.

'Super Bowl', 'Al Qaeda', 'NCAA', 'Maria Sharapova', 'Easter' and 'Valentine's Day' all gained significantly in terms of searches, although not enough to make it into the top 10.

There is another racism controversy threatening to engulf a celebrity: this time involving none other than Paris Hilton.

A video was posted on YouTube allegedly showing the millionaire heiress and her sister Nicky making racist and homophobic comments about the other guests.

She is also heard making degrading comments about another woman at the party.

ITV reports that the video was filmed at a recent party, though it appears that the clip has since been pulled from the site.

What is it this year with celebrities and race?!

And now for something completely ditzy...
January 30, 2007
With so many comments to yesterday's flag post, some of which required serious filtration, I've been preoccupied by thinking about these complex issues again today. So for today's instalment, let's change gears completely. To the lightest, fluffiest topic of all – Paris Hilton. Let me applaud whoever came up with the headline on the SMH homepage about Paris trying to shut down a website full of nude photos of her – "Paris seeks redress". Surely, people, racist rednecks and arrogant inner-city latte sippers alike can come together for that one universal goal – to laugh at Paris Hilton?
Apparently Paris was "shocked and surprised" that naked photos of her that were supposed to be in a storage locker were posted on the internet. Really? After people even hacked into her cellphone and put her nudie pics on the internet?

Okay, so you and I may have naively assumed that every extant image of Paris naked or having sex was already in the public domain. But Paris, surely, knew she had another cache of home-made porn out there. And for some reason, didn't destroy it. So really, what were the odds of it not getting an airing online? Paris, if you're reading, I'd henceforth work on the assumption that every image of you ever taken is going to wind up on the internet. So, like, um, maybe you might want to rethink your hobby of posing nude for the cameras? There are plenty of other, slightly less humiliating ways of embarrassing yourself – releasing another single, perchance?

So Paris, as always, is the big loser. But how about the folk who bought her stuff for $2775 and on-sold it for $10 million? Despite its ubiquity, Paris' lack of dignity certainly has a huge price. She really should just swallow what little presumably remains of her pride and become an adult star. I mean, by choice. At least she'd be the one making the money.

I am particularly amazed that the domain "parisexposed.com" was still available for the purchasers to set up the photos taken from Paris' storage locker. Surely, given her boundless penchant for scandal, all possible Paris domain names have now been taken by cybersquatters? I did a little test just now, and much to my surprise ParisIsTheAntichrist.com is still available – and surely a valuable investment given her career to date – but I bet that's it's just about the only Paris-related domain name still available.

Sadly for those folks who might have wanted to pay $39.97 to see what surely everyone with an internet connection is already sick to death of, the site's now been shut down. And you can guess its owners are in a bit of legal trouble. Presumably the copyright holder didn't consent to their publication (which, I believe, a separate legal issue to buying the items themselves.)

Now, here's where I tenuously, and ultimately unsuccessfully, link this issue to something more serious in an attempt to add gravitas to a frivolous post. Let us reflect. We treat refugees escaping from brutal regimes as if they're criminals, locking them up for months at a time, and yet we let Paris freely enter Australia whenever she feels like it. There's something seriously wrong with this country.

There's something seriously wrong

Paris Hilton is suing to shut down a Web site that's showing her personal photos, videos, diaries and other things she'd once kept at a storage facility.

ParisExposed.com was launched last week.

It says the items were auctioned off after Hilton neglected to pay rent to the storage facility. The site also promises that visitors who pay a fee of about $40 will get access to Hilton's passport, medical records and other legal documents.

Hilton says a moving company was supposed to have paid the fee to the storage facility. Her lawsuit says 2 people paid more than $2,700 for the contents of the storage unit and later sold the items for 10 million dollars to a third person who created ParisExposed.com.

Hilton's publicist says, in addition to shutting down the Web site, she wants her stuff back.

Paris And Stavros Fight At Hollywood Nightclub

January 29, 2007 4:11 a.m. EST

Sally Grover - All Headline News Contributor
Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - The Niarchos family should not get too excited just yet because, according to reports, heir to the shipping families throne Stavros and Paris Hilton have had a public bust up.

The on/off couple, who allegedly parted ways the first time after Niarchos' parents threatened to cut him off financially for dating the "One Night In Paris" star, were spotted by paparazzi mid-fight while on a night out in Los Angeles.

According to paparazzi agency X17, Hilton and her beau were "screaming" at each other and only acted civil when they realized they were being watched.

Once they had arrived at Hollywood hotspot Area, the socialite and the Greek Shipping heir had finally had enough of each other. According to X17, Hilton called a limousine to take her boyfriend home and then left by herself.

The couple have been back "on" since late 2006. While Hilton has declared herself celibate, new reports have emerged that allege her exposed storage shed housed STD medication for herpes, a doctor's report for a miscarriage for someone with the same birthday as her, and many compromising photos and videos.

Fametastic
Celebrity Gossip: snippets
Saturday January 27th, 2007 at 3:22 pm by LucyLastic

A source close to Isaac Cohen has explained that Britney Spears “was joking” last week when she said that she and Isaac “weren’t together anymore“. The source told Us Weekly that the two have been dating for a month and are still going strong. Isaac echoed the sentiment by telling photographs earlier this week: “[Britney]’s the ultimate sweetheart.”
And speaking of Britney, Donald Trump has said he thinks it’s time she stopped partying and started working more seriously on her comeback. The tycoon has previously spoken out about Britney’s lack of career in relation to her estranged husband Kevin Federline but now he’s more adamant. He reportedly said recently: “She wanted some free time but now, Britney, it’s time to settle down and get back to work. It’s time to get back to being a mother and being a star.”
Renee Zellweger is reportedly very happy with Luke Perry because he’s self-confident. The two are rumoured to be dating after being spotted dining together recently. An inside source told the National Enquirer that Renee thinks she’s picked a good one this time: “Renee has been burned too many times by guys who are full of themselves… It’s a relief for Renee to be dating a guy who is comfortable enough in his own skin that he’s not turned off by her success.”

VIDEO REPORT
BEVERLY HILLS, CA (Reuters) - Regular bottled water is, like, so yesterday.

Enter Bling H20 Beverly Hills, California. Luxury water...that, let's face it, it will end up very pricey.

Tap water's free, bottled water's a few bucks...but this pimped out bottle's 50-60 bucks, and up to 90 dollars at the club, that's, like 4 dollars a sip. But it's so now. Paris Hilton even gave her dog some...after having the Swarovski crystals customized for her little chihuahua Tinkerbell.

A tourist said, "It just says 'Bling beverages Beverly Hills,' I don't know if any waterfalls or springs in Beverly Hills that would produce really great water, so it sounds like it comes from the tap or something."

Duh, of course it's not from the tap. It's from Tennessee, from an award winning spring that is said to have perfect pH balance and a, like, totally sweet taste.

Bling's founder hopes that regular folks who like to spend money and celebs will gulp down the latest product offered in the uber-rich celebrity marketing machine.

Kevin Boyd, Bling H2O founder said,"If you really think about it, there's no difference in going to a nightclub and having a 350 dollar bottle of fancy vodka, or having a 50 dollar bottled water in your hand. The perceived value is probably about the same."

Bling's founder knows that dropping all those coins for a bottle of water isn't for everyone...but that's why he says other people can drink the Bling out of a plastic bottle and still feel like a superstar.

Lessons from the other infamous P. Hilton -- his name is Perez

Some people hate him, some people love him, and that's just the way it is for celebrity gossip blogger, Perez Hilton. The native New Yorker has made quite a career out of star-watching, a la supermarket rags/tabloids.

But the difference with Perez is ultimately his delivery and of course its medium -- the internet. His blog, PerezHilton.com, was just named No. 2 in the Forbes Web 25 list.

Why does it work so well? The same reason any blog does: Perez offers tons of snarkiness and flair with his commentary. His constantly updated site make his readers feel in-the-know as he delivers news, gossip, sightings and pictures.

Of course, the experience is often vicious for those under his scathing scrutiny. And, he often displays photos before they are published in other arenas, which has netted him a lawsuit as well as the fervent dislike of photo agencies and PR people.

In addition, Perez is known to be play favorites as he has started rubbing shoulders with celebs he once heckled, like the other P. Hilton -- Paris herself. Paris Hilton has a huge internet following where she is both loathed and loved, except by Perez of course. Perez often posts pictures of him and her together at parties.

He's now becoming a Hilton celeb in his own right. He has become a regular commentator on TV shows, which just goes to show all of us the power of the blog.
